The Los Angeles Lakers will be going on the road on Wednesday night to face the Washington Wizards, who have won two consecutive games.

During the 2013-14 season, the Wizards were able to win both of their games against the Lakers. Both were high-scoring games, with the Wizards winning 116-11 in Los Angeles, and 117-107 at home in the second game.

On Monday night, the Wizards played one of their better defensive games of the season when they beat the Miami Heat 107-86 at home. They made 54.2 percent of their shots in that win and outrebounded the Heat 42-33.

Through 16 games, the Wizards are scoring 98.2 points per game while only giving up 96 points per game. Point guard John Wall currently has a 20.8 PER by averaging 18.2 points, 9.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Center Marcin Gortat has averaged 13.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per game this season, while veteran Paul Pierce has scored 12.5 points per game in his first year in Washington.
