The Los Angeles Lakers, who are just 3-7 on the road this season, will be visiting the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. In their first game against each other this season, the Spurs blew out the Lakers 93-80 in Los Angeles.

The Lakers were able to snap their three-game losing streak on Tuesday night when they edged the Sacramento Kings 98-95 at home. They only made 39.6 percent of their shots in that game, but they also only had five total turnovers.

So far this season, the Lakers have done pretty well on offense, but their defense is giving up over 110 points per game. Shooting guard Kobe Bryant currently has a 19.5 PER by averaging 25.5 points, 4.9 assists and five rebounds per game. Nick Young has scored 14.6 points per game off of the bench and he has made over 40 percent of his three-point attempts.

The Spurs have now won three out of their last four games after defeating the New York Knicks 109-95 at home on Wednesday night. They made 50.7 percent of their shots in that win and only ended up with nine team turnovers.

Through their first 22 games this season, the Spurs are in the top three in the league in points allowed by giving up just 94.3 points per game. Veteran point guard Tony Parker has averaged a team-high 16.6 points per game this season while dishing out 5.5 assists per game.
