On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will be going up against the Sacramento Kings in a game between two of the worst defenses in the Western Conference. Last year, the Lakers were able to win three out of their four games against the Kings.

On Friday, the Lakers lost their second straight game when the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated them 104-103 in Los Angeles. The Lakers lost that game despite making nearly 50 percent of their shots and outrebounding the Thunder 43-42.

Through their first 26 games this season, the Lakers have the worst defense in the NBA by allowing their opponents to score nearly 110 points per game against them. Shooting guard Kobe Bryant is currently the team's leading scorer, while big man Jordan Hill leads the team in rebounding.

The Kings lost their fifth game in a row on Thursday when the Milwaukee Bucks beat them 108-107 on the road. Sacramento did shoot the ball well in that loss, but they also ended up with 21 team turnovers.

Through their first 26 games of the season, the Kings are one of the top rebounding teams in the league, but they are also giving up 101.7 points per game. Small forward Rudy Gay has had a strong start to the year by averaging 21.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Point guard Darren Collison has scored 15.6 points per game and is leading the team in assists with 6.1 per game.
