The Los Angeles Lakers were able to pull off the 126-122 win the last time they played the Sacramento Kings in a battle between two of the bottom three teams in the Western Conference. The Lakers won just their 10th home game of the season, while the Kings dropped to 20-38 overall at the time.

The Lakers were outscored 65-54 in the first half, but they came back thanks to a 41-point third quarter and solid play down the stretch. Both teams shot the ball well in this one, but the Lakers were able to shoot an outrageous 60% from the field. It was clear from the beginning that this was a game between two of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.

Jordan Farmar came off of the bench for the Lakers to score a career-best 30 points in 29 minutes on the floor. MarShon Brooks also gave them great bench production, scoring 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Pau Gasol had 22 points in the win, while Wesley Johnson had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Rudy Gay scored a game-high 32 points for the Kings, including going 9-for-9 from the free throw line. Derrick Williams had one of his better games of the season by scoring 26 points and bringing down 12 rebounds. Jason Thompson also had a double-double for Sacramento, scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 boards.
