The Lakers look to put together only their 2nd three-game win streak of the season when they visit the lowly Bucks on Thursday night. Milwaukee has been in close games lately but is nonetheless closing in on the highest top draft pick probability with only 11 games to play.

The Knicks came to the Staples Center Tuesday night looking to continue their recent hot play and boast their outside chances at a playoff berth behind new team President Phil Jackson. The Lakers abruptly demolished them by 31 points without Pau Gasol in the lineup. The win, as 7.5 point home underdogs, was the second straight for L.A, who has broken the 100 point barrier in four straight contests. It's not as if the Lakers are putting on an end of the season run though as they're still just 3-7 straight up in their last 10 and just a game up on the 4th worst team in the NBA.

The Bucks have one lone SU win in their last 10 but they've actually been a friend to the bettors by going 7-3 ATS over that time. There seems to always be some value in a Milwaukee line as they've seen six double-digit spreads in the last 2+ weeks.

The Bucks closed out the 2013 calendar year with a 94-79 victory over the Lakers. Brandon Knight scored a season-high 37 points and the Milwaukee defense shut down every player except Nick Young and Pau Gasol who had 50 of the 79 Laker points. The Bucks line of +6 was a gift as they held a lead as big as 22 points at times.
