On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Orlando Magic in a game between two struggling defenses. Last season, the Clippers and the Magic split their two-game regular season series.

The Clippers' offense had an off game on Monday night when they were beaten 105-89 by the Chicago Bulls at home. They had 12 turnovers in that loss and they only ended up shooting 44 percent as a team.

Through their first nine games, the Clippers have given up 102.7 points per game to their opponents. Shooting guard Jamal Crawford has had a pretty good start to the year by scoring 18 points per game. All-Star Blake Griffin is averaging 23.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assist per game this season.

The Magic were able to pick up their third win in their last four games on Monday when they beat the Detroit Pistons 107-93 on the road. They were excellent from beyond the arc in that win, making 13 of their 26 three-point shots.

Through 12 games, the Magic have only been able to score 97 points per game. Center Nikola Vucevic has clearly been their best player so far this year by averaging 18.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Small forward Tobias Harris has scored 18.4 points per game and pulled down 8.2 rebounds per game so far this season.
