There was no surprise result the last time the Los Angeles Clippers squared off against the New Orleans Pelicans, as the Clips were able to dominate from start to finish in a 108-76 victory. Danny Granger, who was acquired by the Clippers the previous day, did not play in the game because his name was not properly added to the roster in time.

The Clippers dominated in just about every facet of the game. They outrebounded the Pelicans 45-44, they shot 46.9% to New Orleans' 32.9%, and they only had 11 turnovers while causing the Pelicans to cough it up 20 times. They also outscored New Orleans in every quarter of the game, including a 30-17 first quarter.

Blake Griffin didn't have his best game, but he was able to score 20 points in the win. Chris Paul scored 21 and had eight assists in the game, while big man DeAndre Jordan had 12 rebounds for the home squad.

New Orleans' top player in this one was Tyreke Evans, who scored 22 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the losing effort. Pelicans' center Alexis Ajinca had a double-double, scoring 11 with 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis was limited to just eight points thanks in large part to three fouls early on in the game.

The Clippers were able to cruise to the win even without two of their guards, Jamal Crawford and J.J. Redick, who were unavailable to play due to injuries.
