Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Clippers will take the floor at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse as they face the Indiana Pacers.

The Los Angeles Clippers had to fight a pesky Phoenix Suns team on Monday night and it took a last second 3-pointer for the Clippers to take a 121 - 120 victory.   The Clippers picked up their 8th win in a row but it wasn’t easy. After a close 1st half, the Clippers began to pull away from the Suns in the 3rd quarter but the Suns rallied to send the game to overtime.  The tight overtime period was broken open by a Blake Griffin 3 –pointer at the buzzer that capped a 45 point night for Griffin.  The Clippers have been on a nice run and will look for their 9th in a row as they take on an Indiana team that shouldn’t be too much of a threat.

The Indiana Pacers dropped their 5th straight game on Monday night as they lost to the Atlanta Hawks 108 – 92.   The Pacers fell behind early to the Hawks and were never able to recover from their slow start.  The stifling Atlanta defense didn’t help matters for the Pacers either.  While the Pacers tried to make a game of it in the 4th, they were just too far behind and too tired to really push the Hawks.  There seems to be a lack of energy in Indiana and until they find a way to show up for games, they will have a hard time stringing together some wins.
