The Los Angeles Clippers were able to win Game 5 of their series with the Golden State Warriors 113-103 to take a 3-2 advantage in the series. One of the main reasons why the Clippers were able to win was that they made 31 free throws, while the Warriors made just 13 on the night.

The Clippers came out on fire and outscored the Warriors 31-21 in the first quarter, but Golden State was able to narrow that lead to just five before halftime. It was a back-and-forth game in the third period, but the Clippers made their shots and free throws early in the fourth and held on for the 10-point win.

DeAndre Jordan chose a great time to have one of his best games of the season by scoring 25 points, grabbing 18 rebounds and blocking four shots. Chris Paul was only able to make six of his 17 shots, but he still ended up having a nice game with 20 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals. Jamal Crawford came off the bench for the Clippers to score 19 points.

Andre Iguodala had a solid game for the Warriors by scoring 18 points, pulling down eight boards and assisting on eight other buckets. Shooting guard Klay Thompson scored 21 points and had five rebounds, while All-Star Stephen Curry added 17 points. No one on the Warriors' bench scored in double figures in the loss.
