The Los Angeles Clippers, who are 8-4 away from home so far this year, will be going on the road on Friday night to take on the Denver Nuggets. These two teams played an entertaining four-game series last year, with both teams coming away with two wins.

The Clippers won their second game in a row on Wednesday when they edged the Indiana Pacers 102-100 at home. They made 28 free throws in that game and ended up with a 51-43 rebounding advantage.

So far this year, the Clippers are one of the top scoring teams in the league by averaging 106.5 points per game. Point guard Chris Paul is having another strong season by averaging 17.5 points, 9.7 assists and nearly two steals per game. Power forward Blake Griffin leads the team in scoring right now with 22.8 points per game.

On Wednesday, the Nuggets lost their third straight game when the Houston Rockets beat them 115-111 in overtime. They made just 40.4 percent of their shots in that loss and ended up turning the ball over 15 times.

The Nuggets are one of the top rebounding teams in the Western Conference, but they are also near the bottom of the league in points allowed. Power forward Kenneth Faried is currently averaging 11 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while making 50.6 percent of his shots.
