The Indiana Pacers will get to see if their solid defense can handle the high-scoring Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Two weeks ago, the Suns were able to blow out the Pacers by the score of 106-83 in Indiana.

In their last game, the Pacers lost their second consecutive road game when they Cleveland Cavaliers beat them 109-97. They only had seven turnovers in that loss, but they also only made 39.3 percent of their shots.

The Pacers have had one of the better defenses in the NBA this season, but their offense has only been able to average 93.4 points per game. Center Roy Hibbert has a 20.3 PER through 13 starts by averaging 13.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game. Point guard Donald Sloan has scored 11.6 points per game and has dished out a team-high 5.1 assists per game.

The Suns made a strong comeback late in their game against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, but they came up just short as they ended up losing 93-90 at home. They turned the ball over 19 times in that loss and were only able to make seven of their 26 three-point attempts.

Through 18 games, the Suns are near the bottom of the league in points allowed by giving up 103.3 points per game. Point guard Isaiah Thomas has a team-high 22.9 PER right now by averaging 15.5 points and 4.1 assists per game coming off of the bench for them.
