On Sunday, the Indiana Pacers will be going up against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game between two of the lowest scoring teams in the NBA.

Last season, the Pacers and the Wolves each picked up a win in their two-game series against each other. The more lopsided win of the two came in November of last year when Indiana blew out the Wolves 98-84 on their home court.

Pacers power forward David West has played in 27 games against Minnesota in his career, averaging 13.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game against them. Center Roy Hibbert has been able to average 11 points and 6.9 rebounds per game against the Wolves, while shooting guard Rodney Stuckey has scored 11.4 points per game in 12 games against them.

In their game against the Boston Celtics on Friday night, the Timberwolves played poor defense and were blown out 114-98 on the road. They turned the ball over 13 times in that loss and were outrebounded 43-37.

The Wolves have had one of the worst defenses in the NBA this season by allowing their opponents to score nearly 110 points per game against them. Rookie shooting guard Andrew Wiggins is scoring 12.3 points per game this season while grabbing nearly four rebounds per game. Young center Gorgui Dieng has made 50.3 percent of his shots and is currently averaging 8.7 points and eight rebounds per game.
