The Miami Heat beat the Indiana Pacers 87-83 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday to tie the series at one win apiece and take away home court advantage from the No. 1 seed. The Heat played excellent defense throughout the contest and held the Pacers to just 40 percent shooting from the field.

The Pacers dictated the tempo in the first quarter and outscored the Heat 21-20, but Miami stepped up their defense and held the Pacers to just 16 points in the second period. Indiana played their best quarter of the game in the third, but Miami's stars stepped up down the stretch and were able to pull off the four-point win.

Miami superstar LeBron James wasn't at his very best in the game, but he still ended up with 22 points, six assists, seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Shooting guard Dwyane Wade shot 10-for-16 from the field in the game and ended up with a team-high 23 points. Chris Andersen came off of the bench for the visitors to grab 12 rebounds in the win.

Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson was his team's best player in the game by scoring a game-high 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting. Center Roy Hibbert had a double-double in the losing effort by scoring 12 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Indiana's bench scored just nine points in the loss.
