In Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the the Miami Heat beat the Indiana Pacers 99-87 at home to take a 2-1 lead in the series. The Heat shot 54.4 percent from the field in the win and forced the Pacers to commit 17 turnovers. Indiana made just six of their 21 three-point attempts in the game.

Indiana got off to a pretty good start in the game and went into the second quarter with a seven-point lead. The Heat picked up their play before halftime, though, a were down by just four going into the locker rooms. Miami's stars stepped up in the second half, which helped the home team cruise to a nine-point win.

All-Star LeBron James led the way for the Heat by making nine of his 14 shots from the field and scoring a game-high 26 points. He also had seven assists, five rebounds and four steals in a solid all-around game.

Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade finished with 23 points, four assists, four rebounds and three steals in the win. Ray Allen came off of the bench for the hosts to make all four of his three-pointers and scored 16 points.

Shooting guard Lance Stephenson had 10 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Pacers. Paul George made just five of his 13 shots and finished with 17 points, while center Roy Hibbert had 16 points for the visitors.
