The Indiana Pacers will attempt to pick up their first road win of the season when they visit the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. The Pacers and the Heat played each other four times last year, with both teams picking up two wins.

Against the Utah Jazz on Monday, the Pacers played very well on the defensive end and picked up a 97-86 home win. They did very well to take care of the ball in that win, turning it over just seven times.

Through eight games, the Pacers are averaging the lowest amount of assists per game in the league and they are scoring just 93 points per game. Small forward Chris Copeland leads the team in scoring with 15.4 points per game and he has grabbed 5.5 rebounds per game.

On Sunday night, the Heat won their second consecutive game when they beat the Dallas Mavericks 105-96 on the road. They were able to make their shots in that win, finishing with a 55.3 field goal percentage.

Miami's defense has had a pretty good start to the season by holding opponents to just 97.9 points per game. Veteran Chris Bosh has had a good start to the year by scoring 23.6 points per game and pulling down 10.3 rebounds per game. Shooting guard Dwyane Wade is averaging 19.7 points per game and a team-high 6.9 assists per game for the Heat.
