Saturday night should be fun in Atlanta when the Hawks host the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers come into Friday with a 1-0 record, as they downed the Philadelphia 76ers in the opener. Atlanta is the opposite, as they dropped their season opener on Wednesday at the Toronto Raptors. Both of these teams battle out of the Eastern Conference. Indiana is in the Central Division, where they are the defending champions, while Atlanta competes out of the Southeast Division.

The Atlanta Hawks love the play they get out of guard Kyle Korver. The shooting guard scored 20 in the opener, despite losing. The Hawks saw six guys score in double figures as Jeff Teague and Mike Scott also got to 20. Atlanta dished for 26 assists in the opener, which ranked as third in the league. Atlanta’s big man Al Horford, if he can stay healthy should compete at the top of the rebound leaders once the season is all said and done.

For the Pacers, expectations are low after Paul George broke his leg during the off-season. The Pacers went to the Eastern Conference Finals a season ago where they were downed by LeBron James and his Miami Heat. In the opening game for Indiana, Roy Hibbert had a big game as he led with 22 points and added 8 rebounds and 7 blocks. A guy that was surprising for many outsiders was Donald Sloan. He played 34 minutes in the win and scored 16 points and garnered 10 rebounds from the point guard position.
