Thursday night, the Houston Rockets will visit the Sacramento Kings.

The Houston Rockets will come into this game after playing the Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Wednesday night.  Back to back games on the road are a big part of the NBA schedule and the Rockets aren’t the only team that will have to deal with a situation like this during the season.  The trip from Oakland to Sacramento isn’t a particularly long one but the Rockets will more than likely be tired when they roll into Sacramento.  The best that the Rockets can hope for is that they don’t overly exert themselves against the Warriors.  If they aren’t worn out, the Rockets should be able to beat Sacramento for the 2nd time this season.

The Sacramento Kings basically a win in their hands on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.  But they allowed the Los Angeles Lakers to rally and deal the Kings a 98 - 95 loss.  The current Lakers team doesn’t resemble the championship squads of old and that gave the Kings a belief that they could pick up a win over Los Angeles.  And at the half, Sacramento was up by 9 points.  But as the Lakers quickly eliminated the deficit in the 2nd half, the Kings couldn’t find a way to regain their form.  If the Kings want to get past the Rockets, they will have to eliminate the mistakes at the end of games.  If a team can’t hold a lead, they can get a win.
