The Houston Rockets, who are 4-1 in conference games this season, will go on the road to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. The Thunder were able to win three out of their four games against the Rockets a season ago.

Houston had a rocky start in their game against the winless Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night, but they came back and were able to pull off an 88-87 home win. They only made 37.2 percent of their field goal attempts in that win, but their defense was able to force 23 Philadelphia turnovers.

The Rockets have had the top defense in the NBA through nine games by only giving up 91.6 points per game. Shooting guard James Harden has been excellent by averaging 26.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. All-Star Dwight Howard has averaged 20.1 points and 11.9 rebounds per game so far this season.

On Friday night, the Thunder started off their game against the Detroit Pistons, but they shot poorly the rest of the game and ended up losing 96-89 in overtime. In that loss, they only went to the free throw line six times, and they ended up losing the rebounding battle 55-42.

Through 10 games, the Thunder have struggled to score by only averaging 92 points per game. Their best player has been point guard Reggie Jackson, who has scored 22.4 points per game and dished out 8.1 assists per game.
