The Houston Rockets will go on the road to face the Miami Heat on Tuesday night in a game between two of the better defenses in the NBA.

During the 2013-14 season, the Rockets and the Heat split their two-game regular season series, with both teams picking up a home win. Houston came away with a 106-103 win in their first meeting, and the Heat were able to win the second game 113-104.

The Rockets are currently near the top of the league in both points and points against. Houston shooting guard James Harden has faced the Heat 10 times in his career and is averaging 17.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists against them. Veteran center Dwight Howard has averaged 17.2 points and 13.3 rebounds against them in 36 games.

The Heat were able to stay undefeated through three games when they beat the Toronto Raptors 107-102 on Sunday night. They shot 50 percent from the field in that game and they ended up outrebounding the Rockets 43-28.

Through three games, the Heat have scored 109.3 points per game, which makes them one of the highest-scoring teams in the league. Power forward Chris Bosh has been their best player by averaging 25.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and four assists per game. Dwyane Wade has scored 16.3 points per game and a team-high 6.7 assists per game.
