Two of the hottest teams in the league will square off when the Houston Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. Earlier this season, the Warriors went to Houston and beat the Rockets 98-87.

Last Saturday, the Rockets won their fourth game in a row when they defeated the Phoenix Suns 100-95 at home. They won that game despite only making 40.7 percent of their shots and finishing with 22 team turnovers.

Through 20 games, the Rockets are in the top four in the league in points allowed by only giving up 94.1 points per game. Shooting guard James Harden has once again been their best player this year by averaging 25.2 points, 6.6 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game. Small forward Trevor Ariza is now averaging 14.2 points and 6.1 boards per game.

The Warriors were able to stretch their winning streak to 13 games on Monday night when they easily defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-86 on the road. They made 46.2 percent of their shots in that win and their defense was able to force 19 Minnesota turnovers.

Through their first 20 games, the Warriors have been able to score 106.9 points per game while only giving up 95.7 points per game. Power forward Marreese Speights has a solid 25.2 PER so far this year by averaging 12.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game off of the bench.
