The last time the Cleveland Cavaliers came to play the Houston Rockets, Jeremy Lin had one of the best games of his career. Lin did not start but he did come off the bench to record his first triple-double of his career. With 15 points, a career-high 11 rebounds and 10 assists, Lin helped the Rockets breeze past the Cavaliers 102-96.

In the Rockets third straight victory, Lin was just a small piece of the puzzle. James Harden returned fresh from an injury and scored 28 points, Dwight Howard picked up 26 points, and Terrence Jones added 17. Harden had sat out the previous two games due to a bruised left thumb. Including his 28 points he also had four assists and three rebounds. His performance in this game was a much needed one considering he only hit 8-of-25 shots in his previous two games combined.

Cleveland's Luol Deng had 24 points and Kyrie Irving put up 21 points with seven assists. The loss gave the Cavaliers their fourth one in a row. They were down by as many as 19 in the first half but Cleveland was able to come out in the second half with an 11-0 run that made the score 63-61 Cleveland. But the Rockets did not stay down for long as they came back by scoring the next 11 points to go back on top 72-63, and held on to that lead for the rest of the game.
