The Golden State Warriors last played the Portland Trail Blazers on January 26th.  The Warriors beat the Trail Blazers 103-88.  Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors led the game in scoring with 38 points.  Curry almost managed to record a triple double with seven rebounds and eight assists to go along with his high scoring output. 

The Warriors had lost four of their last five games and this win over the Trail Blazers helped get them back on track and back in the win column.  The Trail Blazers kept it close until the third quarter where they were outscored by the Warriors by 10 points.  The Trail Blazers were never able to get back into this game.

Currently the Golden State Warriors are in sixth place in their conference and are eight games behind the San Antonio Spurs.  The Trail Blazers are one spot above the Warriors in the conference in fifth place.  Portland is one and a half games ahead of the Warriors and will need this win if they hope to keep their fifth place spot.
