On Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors will get a better idea of how good their defense really is when they go on the road to face the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Warriors won two out of their four games against the Trail Blazers last season. Both teams won one of those four games by at least 10 points, while their final two meetings of the season were decided by two points or less.

Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry has played the Trail Blazers 16 times in his career, averaging 24.3 points and 6.9 assists per game against them. Veteran power forward David Lee has played against them 25 times in his career and has averaged 16.3 points per game with 9.8 rebounds per game.

The Trail Blazers gave up 32 fourth-quarter points to the Sacramento Kings on Friday and lost 103-94 on the road. They did well to only turn the ball over 10 times in that game, but what hurt them most was that they only made nine of their 26 free throw attempts.

Trail Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge wasn't at his best against the Kings, but he still finished with 22 points, four rebounds and two blocks. Point guard Damian Lillard had 20 points and seven rebounds in that loss, but he was only able to make four of his 13 field goal attempts.
