The high-scoring Golden State Warriors will be going on the road on Sunday night to face the Phoenix Suns in an early-season Pacific Division matchup.

Last season, the Warriors and the Suns played each other four times, with each team being able to pick up two wins. Both teams were able to win one close game and one blowout, so it was one of the harder matchups to predict last year.

Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry has played against the Suns 19 times in his career and has averaged 16.1 points and 6.7 assists per game. Shooting guard Klay Thompson has averaged 16.8 points per game against Phoenix, while veteran Andrew Bogut has scored 11.4 points per game and grabbed 8.8 rebounds per game against them.

On Friday, the Suns lost their second game in a row when they were defeated 114-112 in overtime by the Sacramento Kings. They did make 10 of their 31 three-point attempts in that loss, but they lost the rebounding battle 60-42.

Through their first six games, the Suns have scored 103.2 points per game, but they have also given up 104.7 points per game. Point guard Isaiah Thomas has been their best contributor by averaging 16 points and four assists per game. Their top scorer has been power forward Markieff Morris, who has been able to average 17.3 points per game.
