Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors will visit the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Golden State Warriors will make the 2^nd stop on their short 3 game road trip as they visit the Pelicans on Sunday after playing the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas on Saturday afternoon. Given the afternoon starting time, the Warriors shouldn't be too fatigued come Sunday. But if they are, the lack of rest will be the only thing to stop one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Golden State has shown the ability to get the job done on both ends of the court and there doesn't appear to be a team in the NBA that can slow them down. If they aren't pressed too much by the Mavericks, the Warriors should have no trouble beating the Pelicans for the 2^nd time this season.

The New Orleans Pelicans will come into this one after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 119 - 114 on Friday night. The Pelicans managed to stay step for step with the Cavs in the 1^st quarter despite losing star Anthony Davis to a chest contusion early on. The game was tied after the 1 ^st but the Pelicans took a 5 point lead at halftime. New Orleans took control in the 3^rd quarter and withstood a late rally and 41 points from LeBron James to take the win. With an effort like that, the Pelicans improved their chances against the Warriors but without Davis in the lineup, a win over Golden State will be a tall order.
