On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors will be taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in an early-season Pacific Division matchup.

Earlier this month, the Warriors had an easy time taking care of the Lakers as they beat them 127-104 at home. Shooting guard Klay Thompson had his best game of the season in that one by scoring a career-high 41 points.

Thompson has averaged 21.5 points per game against the Lakers in his career, while Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has averaged 21 points and 7.6 assists per game against them. Veteran small forward Andre Iguodala has faced the Lakers 15 times in his career, averaging 14.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and five assists per game against them.

On Friday night, the Lakers only scored 37 first-half points against the San Antonio Spurs and ended up getting blown out 93-80 at home. They were only able to make two of their 13 three-point attempts in that loss and finished with a 37.3 field goal percentage.

The Lakers have had the worst defense in the league through nine games, giving up over 109 points per game. Veteran Kobe Bryant leads the team in scoring with 25.4 points per game, but he is only making 36.7 percent of his shots. Center Jordan Hill has been their most efficient player by averaging 13.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.
