On Friday night, the Detroit Pistons will be going up against the New York Knicks, who have won just three of their 13 home games this season. In their first meeting this season, the Pistons were able to beat the Knicks by the score of 98-95 at home.

On Wednesday night, the Knicks lost their ninth consecutive game when the Los Angeles Clippers beat them 99-78 on the road. They were outrebounded 50-40 in that loss and made just 38.1 percent of their shot attempts.

Through 34 games this year, the Knicks have just five wins and are near the bottom of the league in scoring. Veteran power forward Amar'e Stoudemire has had a pretty good season by averaging 13.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while making 55.8 percent of his shots.
