The Detroit Pistons and their struggling offense will have to go on the road to face the tough defense of the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.

During the 2013-14 season, the Grizzlies were able to win both of their games against Detroit. The first game went into overtime, and the Grizzlies came away with a 112-84 blowout in Detroit in the second game.

In 19 games against the Grizzlies, Pistons forward Josh Smith has scored 16.2 points per game and he's grabbed seven rebounds per game. Center Andre Drummond has averaged 10.3 points and 12.7 boards against Memphis in his career, while guard Brandon Jennings has been able to score 20.6 points per game against them.

On Thursday night, the Grizzlies scored 35 fourth-quarter points to come back and beat the Sacramento Kings 111-110 at home. They made over 50 percent of their shots in that win and they only ended up turning the ball over nine times.

Through nine games, the Grizzlies are 8-1 and they have the best defense in the league by only giving up 91.7 points per game. Center Marc Gasol has averaged a team-high 18 points per game while grabbing 7.4 rebounds per game. Power forward Zach Randolph is averaging 16.7 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, and point guard Mike Conley has 16.6 points per game and a team-high 6.2 assists per game.
