On Monday, the Detroit Pistons will be playing in the final game of their three-game road trip when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers. Last year, the Clippers were able to sweep their two-game regular season series against the Pistons.

The Pistons won their second straight game on Saturday night when they beat the Sacramento Kings 95-90 on the road. They shot well from the charity stripe in that game, making 19 of their 23 free throws.

Despite their recent hot streak, the Pistons are still near the bottom of the league in scoring with just 93.4 points per game. Power forward Greg Monroe has been their top contributor so far this season by averaging 15 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, while center Andre Drummond has averaged a double-double of 11.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.

The Clippers are now on their first losing streak of the season after taking a 111-106 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. They shot pretty well in that loss, but they also allowed the Bucks to make 56.6 percent of their shots.

Through their first 23 games of the year, the Clippers are one of the top scoring teams in the NBA by averaging over 106 points per game. High-flying power forward Blake Griffin is having another strong season by averaging 22.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
