The Detroit Pistons, who have won just three of their 12 road games this season, will be visiting the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. In their first meeting this season, the Nets were able to defeat the Pistons 102-90 in Brooklyn.

The Pistons were outscored 29-18 in the third quarter of their game against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night and ended up losing 110-100 at home. Point guard Brandon Jennings had a good game in the losing effort, finishing with a team-high 22 points and eight assists.

Through 27 games, the Pistons are near the bottom of the league in both scoring and team assists per game. Their leading scorer is power forward Greg Monroe, but even he has only been able to average 14.6 points per game this year.

On Friday night, the Nets got off to a great start in their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but they cooled off in the second half and were beaten 95-91 on the road. They were outrebounded 44-37 in that loss and finished the game with 16 turnovers.

The Nets have played well on the defensive end of the court this season, but they are only scoring about 95 points per game. Veteran shooting guard Joe Johnson has made 45.3 percent of his shots this season and is currently averaging a team-best 16.3 points per game.
