On Wednesday night, the Detroit Pistons will try to improve upon their poor road record when they play the Boston Celtics. This will be the first of four meeting between these two teams this season. Both the Celtics and the Pistons are currently near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo has played well against the Pistons in his career, averaging 11.1 points and 8.7 assists per game against them. Small forward Jeff Green has averaged 15.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game against Detroit in his career, while big man Jared Sullinger has been able to score 13.7 points per game while grabbing seven boards per game in six games against them.
