On Friday, the Denver Nuggets will try to add a win to their 4-5 road record when they visit the Washington Wizards. The Nuggets were able to win both of their games against the Wizards during the 2013-14 season.

The Nuggets saw their two-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday when they Portland Trail Blazers beat them 105-103 in Denver. They lost that game despite shooting 50.6 percent from the field and outrebounding the Blazers 41-37.

Through their first 18 games, the Nuggets have been able to score 105.2 points per game against their opponents. Point guard Ty Lawson currently owns a 19 PER by averaging 16.6 points, 10 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Center Timofey Mozgov has scored 9.8 points per game while pulling down a team-best 7.5 rebounds per game.

On Wednesday, the Wizards picked up their third straight win by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 111-95 at home. Shooting guard Bradley Beal had his best game of the season in that one, making 11 of his 19 shots and finishing with a team-high 27 points.

The Wizards are currently in the top five in the league in assists with 25.2 helpers per game. All-Star point guard John Wall has a solid 20.4 PER right now after averaging 18.1 points, 9.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game in his first 17 games of the season.
