On Monday night, the Denver Nuggets will be going for their seven win in eight games when they face off against the Utah Jazz. Last season, the Nuggets and the Jazz picked up two wins apiece in their four-game regular season series.
On Friday, the Nuggets were dominant in their 122-97 thrashing of the Phoenix Suns. In that win, the Nuggets made 46.6 percent of their field goal attempts and ended up outrebounding the Suns 58-34.

Point guard Ty Lawson has been their best all-around player by scoring 16.3 points per game and dishing out 10 assists per game. Center Timofey Mozgov has averaged 10 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game so far this season.
In their game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, the Jazz were already down 35-18 after the first quarter and ended up losing 112-96. In that loss, they allowed the Clippers to shoot 56.3 percent from the field.
So far this season, the Jazz are near the bottom of the league in scoring with just 95.6 points per game. Their best player has been small forward Gordon Hayward, who is now averaging 19.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. Their top rebounder is Derrick Favors, who is averaging 8.6 boards per game.
