On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets will try to snap their four-game losing skid when they go on the road to face the Portland Blazers.

The Nuggets gave up 38 first-quarter points to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday and ended up losing that game 110-101. The game was pretty even statistically, but the Cavs finished with 18 more free throws attempts, which ended up being the difference in the game.

Through five games, the Nuggets are near the bottom of the league in points allowed by giving up 106.4 points per game. They have four players averaging double-figures in points, but their highest scorer, Randy Foye, is averaging just 12.8 points per game. Center JaVale McGee has come off of the bench for Denver to average seven points and 2.4 blocks per game in just 13.2 minutes per game.
