On Sunday afternoon, the Denver Nuggets will be visiting the New York Knicks, who will be playing their first Western Conference opponent. During the 2013-14 season, the Nuggets and the Knicks split their two-game regular season series.

On Friday night, the Knicks lost their seventh game in a row when they were defeated 102-100 at home. They lost that game despite shooting 47.6 percent from the field and forcing the Jazz into committing 18 turnovers.

Through 10 games, the Knicks are near the bottom of the league in scoring with just 92.4 points per game. Small forward Carmelo Anthony is averaging 23.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season, while veteran forward Amar'e Stoudemire has been able to average 10.9 points and 7.9 boards per game.
