Heading into the final two games of the season the Clippers wrap up their most successful season in franchise history with legitimate NBA Finals aspirations. A main reason for that success is a 33-7 record at the Staples Center that they look to improve on in their last regular season game in front of the L.A crowd. The Nuggets look to be a formidable late season opponent though as they've knocked down Golden State and Houston as part of a 3-game win streak.

Injuries have been a big part of why Denver will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2003. JaVale McGee and Danilo Gallinari will miss all but 5 games on the year and Nate Robinson appeared in only 44 games before tearing his ACL. Either way the year proves as a spot for Denver to build depth and have come into their own lately winning 4 of their last 6 with two close losses in Houston and at Memphis.

The Clips have relaxed a bit since returning from a 4-1 stretch on a 5-game road trip that wrapped up April 2nd. L.A is just 2-2 since then with wins over Sacramento and the Lakers offsetting losses to Dallas and OKC, both at home. The #3 seed is either way a lock for the Clippers and they'll have home court advantage through the 1st round.

The Nuggets own the season series so far having won the last 2 meetings for a 2-1 record overall. Denver was 4 point home underdogs when they welcomed the Clippers to town on March 17th, ultimately scoring a 110-100 win behind 21 points from J.J. Hickson. The Nuggets also snuck out a close victory on February 3rd with a 116-115 win but lost 112-91 back in December.
