The Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors are two of the top 10 scoring teams in the NBA, and they certainly showed it the last time they played. The Nuggets were able to get the road win by beating the Warriors 123-116 in the second game of a four-game season series.

Fans knew pretty much right away that this was going to be a high scoring game, as the two teams were able to combine for 67 points in the opening quarter. Denver was able to make a few more shots than the Warriors in the second quarter and took a 65-58 lead into the half. It was mostly back and forth the rest of the way, but the Nuggets were able to go on a run in the fourth quarter to get the seven-point win.

Nuggets center J.J. Hickson was able to bring down a season-high 24 rebounds to go along with his 13 points. Nate Robinson came off of the bench for Denver to score a team-high 24 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter alone. Ty Lawson contributed a double-double in the win, scoring 22 points and adding 11 assists.

Warriors power forward David Lee had a solid game in the losing effort, scoring a game-high 28 points and grabbing 11 boards. Stephen Curry scored 24 points, but he only made four of his 13 three-point attempts in the game.
