On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets will be going on the road to take on the Atlanta Hawks in a game between two of the better offenses in the league. The Nuggets and the Hawks each picked up a win in their two-game regular season series last year.

The Nuggets lost their second consecutive game on Friday night when the Washington Wizards beat them 119-89 on the road. Denver only made 37.8 percent of their shots in that loss while also turning the ball over 19 times.

So far this season, the Nuggets have been able to score 104.4 points per game, but they are also allowing their opponents to score 105.9 points per game against them. Point guard Ty Lawson has a team-high 19.3 PER by averaging 16.5 points, 10.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Center Timofey Mozgov has scored 9.6 points per game this season while grabbing a team-best 7.4 rebounds per game.

The Hawks played excellent defense in their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night and ended up easily winning 98-75 on the road. They had 12 steals in that win and ended up forcing a total of 17 turnovers.

Through their first 18 games, the Hawks are in the top 10 in scoring with nearly 104 points scored per game. Point guard Jeff Teague currently leads the team with a 22.4 PER by averaging 17.8 points and 7.1 assists per game.
