On Tuesday, the Dallas Mavericks will be taking on the Phoenix Suns in a game between two of the best offenses from the Western Conference.

During the 2013-14 season, the Mavericks found a way to win two out of their three games against the Suns. The most lopsided win came early in the season when the Mavs routed the Suns 123-108 in Phoenix.

Mavericks’ high-scoring guard Monta Ellis has scored 20.5 points per game against the Suns in 31 career games, while center Tyson Chandler has been able to average 10.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game against them in his career. Veteran power forward Dirk Nowitzki has also played well against Phoenix in his career, averaging 22.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game against them.

On Sunday night, the Suns held the Washington Wizards to just 42 second-half points to pull off a 104-92 road win. They had 45 rebounds in that win and finished with a solid 51.3 field goal percentage.

The Suns have had one of the best offenses in the Western Conference this season by scoring over 104 points per game. Shooting guard Goran Dragic has made 49.3 percent of his shots this season and is currently averaging a team-high 16 points per game. Forward Markieff Morris has scored 15.2 points per game and is grabbing a team-high 6.2 rebounds per game.
