On Sunday, March 16, the Dallas Mavericks will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. These teams haven't played since last November and on that night, the Thunder bested the Mavericks 107-93 behind Kevin Durant's double-double.

On this night, Russell Westbrook put the doubters to rest on whether he would come back as strong and explosive. Westbrook ended the night with 22 points, a rebound, four assists and two steals. However, he had two monster dunks to let everyone know he was back. Kevin Durant finished with 23 points, three rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Serge Ibaka added 17 points and 13 rebounds as well.

The Thunder were leading the game at halftime 57-51 and in the third quarter they extended the lead to 15 points. From that point, the game was never really in question. Shawn Marion led the Mavericks with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Monta Ellis added 20 points, five rebounds and three assists. Ellis also contributed seven of the Mavericks 21 turnovers on the night. These turnovers led to 27 fast break points by the Thunder. Dirk Nowitzki also added 16 points and six rebounds in the losing effort.
