Tuesday night, the Dallas Mavericks will take the floor at the FedExForum as they face the Memphis Grizzlies. 

The Dallas Mavericks will come into this one after running over the Milwaukee Bucks 125 - 102 on Sunday night. The Mavs came out of the gate running and the Bucks had no answer for them at all. Dallas was up by 11 after the 1st quarter and they never looked back.  Although the Bucks eventually made it close, they were never really in the game. Dallas was able to withstand a Milwaukee team that had 6 players in double-digits.  Dallas might just need the same type of quick start against the Grizzlies.  Even though the Mavericks have won 6 of their last 7, they will be facing a Memphis team that isn’t afraid of anyone.

The Memphis Grizzlies ended a two game losing streak Sunday night by beating the Miami Heat 103 - 87. Memphis turned in of their better efforts of the season as they got shot 59% from the field and got a double-double out of Jon Leuer (20 points, 12 rebounds).  Memphis is playing well in a tight division and will need to play their best again on Tuesday against their fellow Southwest division competitors, the Dallas Mavericks.  With just a game separating 4 of the 5 teams in the division, these early divisional games are already taking on added significance and even a single win might make the difference come playoff time.
