The Dallas Mavericks will take their high-scoring offense on the road on Monday night to take on the Charlotte Hornets. Last season, these two teams split their two-game regular season series.

The Mavericks had another great offensive performance on Saturday when they easily beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 131-117 at home. They only had seven team turnovers in that win and they ended up with a 55.3 percent field goal percentage.

Through 10 games, the Mavs have the number one scoring team in the NBA by averaging 109.5 points per game. Veteran Dirk Nowitzki has scored 20.3 points per game while grabbing 5.9 rebounds per game. Center Tyson Chandler is averaging 11.2 points and a team-high 10.4 rebounds per game this season.

The Hornets have now lost three out of their last four games after getting blown out 112-87 by the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. In that loss, they made seven of their 17 three-pointers, but they only made 38 percent of their total field goal attempts.

Charlotte is in the bottom half of the league in scoring by averaging just 96.1 points per game. Veteran center Al Jefferson has been their best player by averaging 21.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. Shooting guard Lance Stephenson has scored 9.9 points per game and he's grabbed 9.5 rebounds per game in his first season with the Hornets.
