The Dallas Mavericks will be looking to keep their hot streak going on Friday night when they visit the Boston Celtics. In early November, the Mavs were able to pull off a 1118-113 win over the Celtics in Dallas.

On Tuesday night, the Mavericks played one of their most complete games of the season when they blew out the Washington Wizards 114-87 at home. They had just seven turnovers in that game and were able to make 52.4 percent of their field goal attempts.

Through 33 games this season, the Mavericks are the top scoring team in the NBA by putting up 109.6 points per game. Shooting guard Monta Ellis is having one of the best seasons of his career by averaging 20.6 points, 4.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game. New points guard Rajon Rondo has averaged 13.2 points and 7.8 assists per game in his first six games in Dallas.

The Celtics held the Sacramento Kings to just 39 first-half points on Wednesday night and went on to easily beat them 106-84 at home. Boston's defense held the Kings to a low 36.8 field goal percentage and forced 16 turnovers in that win.

So far this season, the Celtics are in the top 10 in the league in scoring by averaging nearly 105 points per game. Second-year center Kelly Olynyk has made 52.1 percent of his shots this season and is now averaging 12.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
