The Cleveland Cavaliers were able to get off to a great start against the Orlando Magic the last time these two teams faced off and held on for the 101-93 win. The Magic only scored 11 points in the first quarter, but they were able to make it a game in the second half thanks to a 32-17 third quarter. Kyrie Irving and the Cavs were just too much for them, though, and Cleveland was able to get their sixth straight win.

Irving was once again the Cavaliers' top player, scoring 22 points, dishing out seven assists and getting seven rebounds in the win. Power forward Tristan Thompson also had a solid game by putting up 16 points and 14 rebounds. Luol Deng had 17 points and Tyler Zeller had 16.

Magic center Nikola Vucevic had a double-double in the loss, scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Shooting guard Arron Afflalo was the game's top scorer with 23 points. The Magic had a few good performances, but their overall shooting percentage of 39.3 is the main reason why they lost this game.

The win helped the Cavs get a bit closer to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. That seemed almost an impossibility a few weeks before, but multiple winning streaks helped them catch up to a bunch of struggling teams in the East.
