The Cleveland Cavaliers last played the Los Angeles Clippers on December 7th in Cleveland.  The Cavaliers won the game 88-82.  Tristian Thompson had his tenth double double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Cavaliers to give them a win at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. 

The Clippers managed to make it a close game, but had a terrible night of shooting.  They would finish the game with a shooting percentage of just over 32 percent.  The missed shots along with being outscored by the Cavaliers by five points in the fourth quarter cost Los Angeles the win.

The Cavaliers currently only have one win in their last five games and are four games out of eighth place in the conference.  The Clippers, with a record of 46-20, are only three games behind their conference leader the San Antonio Spurs.  The Clippers have come on strong recently and are on a nine game winning streak.  A win over the Cavaliers this weekend could go a long way towards increasing their seed in the Western Conference.
