Kevin Love and his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates will play at the Denver Nuggets on Friday night in the Pepsi Center. Both teams are on a losing streak as the Cavaliers have dropped two straight games. Overall, Cleveland is 1-3, 1-2 playing on the road. For Denver, they have fallen in three straight games, and have won just 1 in 4 attempts this season. This is the only time Cleveland will travel to the Pepsi Center to take on the Nuggets.

The Denver defense moved to 28th in the league after allowing the Sacramento Kings to score 131 points in the loss on Wednesday. The Nuggets are allowing teams to score more than 105 points per game. Denver, on the offensive side, saw great scoring production off their bench in the loss as Randy Foye scored 19, Darrel Arthur added 11 and Nate Robinson with 10. On the season, the Nuggets are using 12.5 points per game from Ty Lawson to lead the way. Kenneth Faried, in his fourth season out of Morehead State, is scoring 10.8 points and grabbing 9.5 rebounds per game as well.

The Cavaliers are scoring just 96.5 points per game. That appears to be well below their projection when they acquired Kevin Love and LeBron James to go along side Kyrie Irving. Cleveland also ranks 30th out of 30 teams in the league in assists, with just 16 per game. In the 102-100 loss at Utah on Wednesday, Irving led the way with 34 points, but the point guard did not pick up a single assist. LeBron James also scored 31 in the loss, with just 4 assists. Kevin Love has shot just 36% in his first season since moving from Minnesota in the trade that sent Andrew Wiggins to Minnesota.
