The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to win their third game in a row when they the high-scoring Boston Celtics on Friday night. Last year, the Celtics were able to win all three of their games against the Cavs.

On Monday, the Cavaliers scored 67 second-half points against the New Orleans Pelicans and went on to win 118-111. They were 13-for-27 from beyond the arc in that win and they only ended up with nine turnovers.

The Cavs have scored 102.3 points per game this season, but they have also given up 103 points per game. All-Star LeBron James has averaged 24.8 points, seven rebounds and 6.8 assists per game so far this season. Power forward Kevin Love is averaging a double-double by scoring 18.7 points per game and pulling down 10.2 rebounds per game.

On Wednesday night, the Celtics were outscored 67-43 in the second half of their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and ended up losing 109-94. They didn't play poorly in that loss other than making just nine of their 33 three-point attempts.

The Celtics have played pretty well on the offensive end of the court this season, but their defense has given up 106.4 points per game. Their best all-around player through seven games has been Jared Sullinger, who has averaging 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and one block per game. Point guard Rajon Rondo has scored 10.8 points per game and he has dished out a league-high 11.3 assists per game.
