The Bulls scraped and clawed in Washington Friday night to score a 100-97 win and bring the deficit in their series to 2-1. Mike Dunleavy went off for the Bulls, hitting 8 three pointers en route to a 35-point outburst that enabled Chicago to capitalize on the absence of Nene, who was ejected for headbutting Jimmy Butler. Chicago aims to even up the series 2-2 on Sunday afternoon before heading back to the United Center, but it doesn't plan on being easy.

Bradley Beal and John Wall are getting a lot of publicity for the Wizards in this series and they proved their mettle in Washington's first home playoff game since 2008. Beal had 25 and Wall 23 in Game 3 but it proved not enough to overcome the Dunleavy factor. Washington is waiting with baited breath on whether or not Nene will be available Sunday, pending an extra game suspension from the league. His presence was definitely missed down the stretch as the forward had 10 points in 28 minutes before getting the boot. Nene had 41 points combined in games 1 and 2 and has for the most part abused Defensive POY Joakim Noah.

Dunleavy's outburst was a welcome sign for the Bulls, who had struggled scoring down the stretch in trying to hold leads in games 1 and 2. Chicago has had a different leading scorer in each of the playoff games but will look for more consistency to get the win Sunday.

Chicago won as +2.5 favorites in game 3 and oddsmakers expect another close game, keeping the same spread for game 4.
