Two teams out of the Eastern Conference will get together at the Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night. The Chicago Bulls, who many are picking to win the Eastern Conference, will play the New York Knicks. Despite missing Derrick Rose for most of the season, Chicago still won 48 games a season ago. New York missed the postseason, winning just 37 games, finishing one game behind Atlanta.

The Chicago Bulls are looking for a full season from their stud point guard Derrick Rose. Rose can do about anything, but has not finished the past two seasons. Joakim Noah was the Defensive Player of the Year a season ago, and also can grab rebounds with the best of them in the NBA. The Bulls have added Pao Gasol to the mix this season to go along with Noah and Taj Gibson. Doug McDermott will also get his rookie debut in this one. Chicago will host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night

For the New York Knicks, it’s postseason or bust. The Knicks will once again turn to Carmelo Anthony to lead the way in scoring. Anthony led the team with 27 points per game a season ago. Carmelo signed a big contract in the off-season to stay in New York. The Knicks went 3-4 and fell in their finale at Toronto. In the 83-80 loss, Carmelo Anthony poured in 24 points, while Amare Stoudemire added 11. The Knicks will finish this game, and then head to Cleveland and take on the Cavaliers on Thursday.
