The Chicago Bulls, who are a solid 11-4 on the road this season, will be visiting the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.

During the 2013-14 season, the Bulls and the Grizzlies split their two-game regular season series against each other. The Grizzlies got the bigger win of the two as they were able to defeat Chicago 85-77 at home.

Bulls power forward Pau Gasol has been able to average 15.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game against the Grizzlies in his career, while point guard Derrick Rose has averaged 20 points, seven assists and 5.5 rebounds per game against them. Shooting guard Jimmy Butler has only played in six games against Memphis, averaging 10.7 points per game.

It took three overtimes, but the Grizzlies were able to beat the San Antonio Spurs 117-116 on Wednesday night for their sixth win in a row. They played yet another solid defensive game in that win, holding the Spurs to a low 41 field goal percentage.

Through their first 25 games this season, the Grizzlies have had one of the best defenses in the NBA by giving up just over 95 points per game. Center Marc Gasol has made 50.6 percent of his shot attempts this season and is currently averaging 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Point guard Mike Conley is averaging 17.6 points and has a team-high 6.4 assists per game.
